Matthew last appeared as a Co-Star in CBS’s new show Tommy, starring Edie Falco.
In October 2019 Matthew performed the Molière award winning one man show Oh Boy!, directed by Olivier Letellier, at Théâtre de la Ville in Paris, France!

Matthew is best known for his work with The Wooster Group and Théâtre du Phare.
Matthew made his Off Broadway debut in 2017 with Olivier Letellier's one man show, OH BOY!, at The Duke on 42nd Street as a part of The New Victory Theater's new season. In 2016 Matthew completed two successful workshop of OH BOY! in Paris and New York.

In 2015 Matthew reprised his role in The Wooster Group's Early Shaker Spirituals. Directed by founding member Kate Valk, Early Shaker Spirituals is a record album interpretation including many of the group's members as well as academy award winner Frances McDormand.
From 2014 - 2016 Early Shaker Spirituals toured to RedCat in Los Angeles, San Fransisco, St. Anns Warehouse in Brooklyn, DeSingel in Antwerp, Pompidou Center in Paris, and Tokyo.

Matthew Brown originally hails from his hometown of Dallas, Texas. Before moving to New York City in late 2013 Matthew attended Chapman University as an Undergraduate BFA Theater Major. Performance work includes collaborations with The Wooster Group, 8PLAYERS, Olivier Letellier, 3LD, 600 HIGHWAYMEN, The Metropolitan Opera, Punchdrunk, and The Public Theater.
